Which liveaboards include free Nitrox for certified divers

This list includes liveaboard boats where the available record states that Nitrox is free, complimentary or included for certified divers. A boat is not included when Nitrox is paid, mixed by booking type, or limited to a date window.

What free Nitrox means here

Free Nitrox in this article means the record says the 12L Nitrox tank, Nitrox tank or Nitrox fill is complimentary, included or free for certified divers. It does not mean the Nitrox course is free. It does not mean a non-certified diver can use Nitrox.

What was not included

These were checked and left out of the confirmed table.

• Bahamas: no checked row stated Nitrox is free, complimentary or included for certified divers.
• Master Liveaboards Galapagos: the checked record says Nitrox is not included and has to be paid extra.
• Master Liveaboards Maldives: the checked record says 12L nitrox tanks are available at extra cost for certified divers.
• Aggressor Adventures Galapagos, Indonesia and Egypt: the checked records list Nitrox at extra cost.
• Fun Azul Fleet Maldives: one section says Nitrox is complimentary for certified divers, while the same record says Nitrox is extra cost for group and charter bookings. It is not treated as free across booking types.
• Smile Dolphin Diving Aqua, Thailand: the record says complimentary 12L Nitrox tanks before 30 September 2026 and paid Nitrox after that date. It is not treated as an evergreen free Nitrox row.
• Phuket Dive Center Mandarin Queen 9: the checked PDF wording says Nitrox is not included and must be preordered at 300 THB per tank.
• Manta Mae Charter: Nitrox is free of charge only for full charter bookings, otherwise extra cost.

How to use this list

Use the table as a starting point when comparing liveaboards. The booking still needs to match certification, logged dives, route difficulty, tank size and departure date.

For Nitrox, confirm that the diver has the required Nitrox certification and that the exact boat and departure still include the 12L Nitrox tank or refill at no extra charge.

No. In the checked records, free Nitrox refers to the tank or refill for certified divers. Nitrox courses are listed separately and may have a fee.

Did Bahamas have confirmed free Nitrox rows?
