Best time to dive Mexico

Socorro runs from about November to May, when liveaboards cross from Cabo San Lucas to the islands. Giant mantas arrive as the season opens, sharks are strongest from January to March, and the best whale shark chances come at the end of the season. DiveScanner only shows boats that actually sail in the month you choose, so you never see a trip that is not running.
